What do you use a 20 cl wine glass for?
For dessert wine, sherry and other sweet or fortified wine that you pour in small measures. You drink those slowly, so a small serving stays cool until the glass is empty.
Which Sensation size is the all-rounder?
The 41 cl. It suits red wine and fuller white wine, and is big enough to swirl in. If you mostly drink crisp white, the 31 cl keeps the wine at temperature noticeably longer.
Is Sensation suitable for a tasting?
Yes, that is what the 25 cl bowl is for. It is small enough to line six or eight up side by side and still roomy enough to swirl in and catch the aroma.
Why do I see limescale streaks on these glasses?
Thin bowls show limescale sooner than thick catering glass. That comes from hard tap water, not from the glass. A dash of vinegar in the rinse water and a polish with a lint-free cloth will sort it out.
