Which size teapot do I need?
Reckon on about fifteen centilitres per cup. The 30 cl pot fills two cups and is meant for one person, 60 cl does four and 90 cl comes out at six cups for a group at the table.
Why a removable filter in a teapot?
With a removable filter you lift the leaves out of the pot as soon as the tea is right. If the filter stays in, the tea keeps steeping and the last cup is noticeably stronger and more bitter than the first.
Can a glass teapot take boiling water?
Yes, the glass is heat resistant and suitable for water at a hundred degrees. Do avoid sudden differences in temperature: do not pour boiling water into a cold pot and do not set a hot pot on a cold stone surface.
How do I get tea residue out of the glass?
Rinse the pot straight after use with warm water and a soft brush. If a brown haze has already formed on the glass, leave the pot to stand for half an hour with hot water and a spoonful of soda crystals, then rinse thoroughly.
