Is cut crystal glass dishwasher safe?
SON.hyx is hard enough for it. Do watch out for limescale: it settles in the grooves of the cutting and dulls it. Use rinse aid or rinse afterwards with soft water if you live in a hard-water area.
What do Riesling and Chianti mean on these bowls?
They are shape designations. The 38 cl Riesling is narrow and tall for aromatic white wine. The 52 cl Chianti is wider and suits juicy red wine. You are not tied to those grapes.
How many glasses are in a set?
All six shapes in the Diamante series are supplied in fours. That is a common pack size for cut glassware, which is more often bought as a gift or for a small table.
Why does a garnish show up better in cut glass?
The cutting refracts the light and reflects the colour of whatever is in the glass several times over. A slice of grapefruit or a sprig of rosemary therefore colours the whole base, which does not happen with plain glass.
