Which Symetrie size is the most popular?
The 45 cl bowl. It is large enough to swirl red wine and small enough to keep white wine cold, which is why it can stand on the table as the only model during dinner.
What is the difference between the flute and the coupe?
The flute of 16 or 21 cl is narrow and holds on to the bubbles for a long time. The 21 cl coupe is wide and shallow, so the aroma is released more quickly. That works better with a mixed drink than with straight champagne.
Is Symetrie suitable for hospitality use?
The range was drawn for the restaurant floor. The rim is given extra heat during production and therefore takes knocks better, and the stem is sturdy enough for a dishwasher that runs every day.
How full do you pour a 45 cl wine glass?
To about a third, so around 15 cl. Room has to remain above the wine for the aroma to gather. Pouring fuller gives you more wine in the glass, but less scent above the liquid.
