What is Tritan crystal glass from Schott Zwiesel?
Tritan is lead-free crystal glass that is tempered right through. Stem and bowl are made in one piece, so the most vulnerable transition disappears and the glass takes many dishwasher cycles without going dull.
Which Classico glass is the most versatile?
The 40.8 cl bowl. It takes both white and young red wine, and a normal pour stays well below the widest point. Anyone buying just one size usually ends up here.
What does an effervescence point in the champagne glass do?
It is an etched point in the base that the carbon dioxide clings to. That produces a steady trail of bubbles instead of the fizz largely dying away shortly after pouring.
Is Schott Zwiesel the same brand as Zwiesel Glas?
No. They are two separate brands with their own ranges and their own collections on this site. They share an origin and both use tempered crystal glass, but the models and sizes do not line up.
