Few beer glasses are as instantly recognizable as the hexagonal Hoegaarden glass: thick-walled, angular, and designed to showcase cloudy wheat beer. Twenty-five centiliters, in a gift box.
Angular for a reason
The hexagonal shape is more than just a brand feature. The thick wall provides insulation, keeping the beer colder for longer than a thin-walled glass, while the flat sides offer a firm grip without having to wrap your hand around the glass. The wide opening leaves room for the substantial head of foam that wheat beer is known for, as well as a slice of lemon, which is traditionally served with it in Belgium. Briefly roll the bottle between your hands before pouring so the yeast sediment mixes in and the beer regains its characteristic cloudy color.

If you choose a refund to your account, the return costs are equal to the shipping costs for your country: €6.95 in the Netherlands, €8.95 in Belgium and Germany, and €9.99 in Spain, France and Luxembourg.

We also place clear warning stickers on the shipping box so the delivery service knows that the box contains fragile glasses and handles it with care.
If a glass still arrives damaged, report it in your account within three business days with a photo. You will receive a replacement glass or store credit, and you do not need to return the broken glass.

Hoegaarden to wieś w Belgii, w której około 1445 roku mnisi opracowali przepis na piwo pszeniczne z kolendrą i suszoną skórką pomarańczy. W XVIII wieku działało tam kilkadziesiąt browarów; ostatni, Tomsin, zamknięto w 1957 roku. Mleczarz Pierre Celis w 1965 roku zaczął ponownie warzyć w swojej oborze i w ten sposób przywrócił mętne piwo pszeniczne.
Pasującą szklankę rozpoznasz od razu: sześciokątna i grubościenna, z płaskimi bokami, które dają pewny chwyt bez konieczności mocnego ściskania.
