Bormioli Rocco
Bormioli Rocco maakt sinds 1825 glas in Fidenza, in de provincie Parma in het noorden van Italië. Het huis groeide uit tot een van de grootste glasproducenten van Europa en staat vooral bekend om gehard glas: vormen die tegen stoten en temperatuurwisselingen kunnen. De stapelbare Bodega tumbler is er het bekendste voorbeeld van en staat in duizenden Italiaanse bars.
In de praktijk is dit glaswerk bedoeld voor plekken waar veel doorloop is en waar glazen dus wat te verduren krijgen, van een café tot een druk huishouden. Series als America'20s en Novecento zijn duidelijk voor de bar getekend, terwijl Line en Diamond het gewoon goed doen aan tafel.
