The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve
Speyside malt further matured in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. Pear, red apple, banana and caramel: a summery, soft whisky with a sunny twist.

A summery Glenlivet
Caribbean Reserve is The Glenlivet with a sunny twist. The whisky is matured further in casks that previously held Caribbean rum, giving its soft, fruity house style a tropical layer. Alongside the familiar pear and apple, you can therefore taste banana, toffee and ripe tropical fruit.
It is non-age-statement whisky and is bottled at 40%. Compared with the 12 Years, it is sweeter and lighter, and compared with the Founder's Reserve, warmer and more tropical. That makes it The Glenlivet for summer: with ginger ale, in a highball or in a cocktail where you would otherwise reach for rum.
In brief
Banana, toffee and ripe pear
Pear & red apple
Sweet aromas of pear and red apple, gradually giving way to a hint of banana.
Toffee & tropical
Rich caramel and toffee with tropical fruit. Soft and well balanced, with the sweetness of the rum casks.
Soft and summery
A soft, sweet finish without harshness, with lingering notes of banana and caramel.
Tasting profile of The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve neat. The fruitiest and sweetest member of the range.
Three summery serves
Think of Caribbean Reserve as a sunny terrace: long, cold and with a hint of the tropics.
With ginger ale
Mix 50 ml Caribbean Reserve with 150 ml ginger ale in an ice-filled highball glass, with a lime wedge. The ginger enhances the toffee and banana.
Highball glasses →In a Mai Tai with whisky
40 ml Caribbean Reserve, 20 ml lime juice, 15 ml triple sec and 10 ml almond syrup shaken with ice and poured into a tumbler with crushed ice, garnished with a sprig of mint. A Scottish nod to the tiki classic.
Mai Tai recipe →On ice with orange
5 cl over a large ice cube in a tumbler, with an orange peel squeezed over it. Simple, cold and summery.
Tumblers →Cocktails with a tropical twist
Because this malt was aged in rum casks, you can use it in recipes that fall somewhere between whisky and rum.

Mai Tai
Lime, triple sec and almond syrup. With whisky instead of rum, it becomes smoother.
Dark 'n Stormy
Ginger beer and lime with a shot of dark spirit. With Caribbean Reserve, it's fruity and smooth.
Old Fashioned
Whisky, sugar and bitters. The toffee and banana give it a rum-like depth.
Whisky Sour
Whisky, lemon, sugar and egg white. The tropical fruit makes it juicy.More flavours from The Glenlivet
