Kyoto refers to Japanese wood carving, and you can see that reflected in the vertical relief running around this glass. Thirty-two centiliters, six pieces, made by Stölzle Lausitz in Germany.
Vertical relief instead of diamonds
Where classic crystal cutting uses diamonds and stars, Kyoto opts for straight, vertical lines. This makes the pattern calmer and more modern: the glass does not so much sparkle as gain depth. On a table with sleek tableware, it fits better than traditionally cut glassware. The relief also provides a practical grip, even when the glass fogs up from cold water or ice.
The everyday size
Thirty-two centiliters is the size that comes out of the cupboard most often: water with a meal, a soft drink with ice, or a drink with a single cube. If a glass still arrives damaged, report it in your account within three business days with a photo. You will receive a replacement glass or store credit, and you do not need to return the broken glass.

Stölzle Lausitz
Stölzle Lausitz zit sinds 1889 in de Lausitz, het glasgebied op de grens van Saksen en Brandenburg in het oosten van Duitsland. Het huis maakt loodvrij kristalglas en is bekend om zijn stelen: die worden niet apart aangezet maar in één stuk uit de kelk getrokken. Daardoor is er geen naad te zien of te voelen en zit het glas rustig in de hand.
Dat maakt deze glazen geschikt voor een restaurant met aandacht voor wijn en voor een tafel thuis die er net zo uit mag zien.
