This 40 cl version follows the classic American shape: straight, slightly tapered, without a handle.

Crushed ice and a frosted exterior

A mint julep is built on finely crushed ice, and the metal cup absorbs that cold so quickly that a white layer of frost forms on the outside within a minute. That is exactly the point: it is the visual signal that the drink has reached the right temperature. Hold the cup by the bottom or the rim to keep the layer intact.

Useful beyond Kentucky

In addition to the classic bourbon-and-mint combination, the shape works excellently for smashes, swizzles, and any serve where crushed ice takes center stage.
